I'd prefer if all of us were at least able to join in these evening conversations if they wanted to.
In my opinion, behaviors have changed enough that giving the chat another run is worth it. If the chat proves to be successful this time, it could possibly mean faster tech help for people and less spam/repetitive threads.

Actually, even though MSN conversations have picked up in frequency, I have noticed a general slowdown in the Experiment, at least, that is not simply accounted for by those in MSN. I think a part of it is just that it's a slower time of year for the forum because people in high school and college, the dominant forum demographic, are either involved in end-of-the-year projects, papers, and studying, or have recently finished and want to be more active away from their computers, or want to play more games and spend less time on the forum.
Also, the SrtrafeRight IRC chat seems to be somewhat sparse in conversation, from the little that I've seen, but I could just be going on at bad times as well, I suppose.
If the chat does become successful, I agree that it could be a valuable resource. But at present I'm not optimistic that there will be enough sustained interest to generate that success. However, if it starts up again and thrives, then I will be more than happy to be proved wrong.
