1 min clips

What is the easiest way to cut 1 min clips from songs and put them together on one track? everything mp3

Audacity.

Of course keep in mind copyright laws, if applicable.

Also as a note, you are better off leaving the MP3 conversion to the last step. If you need to do editing open it and convert it to an uncompressed format, do your editing, and then after you are all done convert back. That way you are compressing only once if possible and not losing data at every step of the game.

Or MP3 Direct cut, a little harder to use but avoids the decode/recode step.
