graphics problems, i think!

ok well i definately have some problems, and i need to send my 9880 in for a tune up, but maybe if i know what they are, i can get it done faster.

my symptoms:

the graphics card area (under left wrist) is getting hotter faster than it usually did. the fan exhaust seems to be a weaker blast than it used to be, even though i have cleaned it with canned air. and recently (only for the past month or a little more) ive been starting to get serious problems. in WoW and now in BF2, occasionally the environment will sort of become black or see-through. like the ground and sometimes ppl and stuff will just become black or see through, and the fps will zapp down to like .5 a second. if this is a weird, not immediately recognizable problem i can post a screenshot... oh several times (not necessarily connected with the last problem) ive gotten a wierd blue screen of death... not the normal windows one, it is in a different font, and automatically restarts my computer after like 20 seconds so i cant really read all of what its saying. the top had something about "if this is the first time you have gotten this error message..." reading the bottom it had a buncha things including memorably something like "nv4_datefile" something LIKE that and then a buncha numbers. sorry, i have a bad memory of this if it comes up again ill try to write as much down as possible, but i havent found a specific trigger for it.

oh also i am using windows blinds (trial). and i normally use 1920x1200 resolution, but when i play an older game in like 1600x1200 resolution, when i switch back (by exiting) the screen will turn black and the computer will completely freeze. unloading windows blinds doesnt change it, however this problem did not happen before i first started using it.

and i dont know when, but my microphone stopped working, it used to work, but now it only picks up the natural hum of the computer and when i tap it. no voice, even shouting. (from testing from various game microphone tests...) without changing any options, about 6 months ago, people could hear me on counterstrike, now they cannot hear me at all.

i think thats all for now, and comments/questions/etc? thanks for the time.
