thanks. that's what i thought. what he said didn't make any sense so i came here to confirm. especially since the batteries are suppose to have a "smart" chip. i guess i'll just get one off ebay hope it a dell original product and not some after-market crap. any suggestions as far as the 130w or 150w?

I just installed a FX-2500 GPU in place of my X1400.

It was quite easy.

me too, got it clocked at 575/700 so it is a 7950gtx for all intents and purposes.

with any video cards that aren't the single piped gs, and if you are o'cing it you need the 130w adapter.

either will work fine, no real gain in using the 150 watt so if you can get them for the same price go for it.
