video editing help

anyone know the easiest way to edit the length of a .avi or .mpeg so that I can fit it on to the CD? I juest need to edit out a few minutes to cut down like 5 mb

Try InterVideo WinDVDCreator, but only for edit .mpeg, not for .avi

or Virtual Dub. AVI not MPEG.

Virtualdubmpg2 can read mpeg-2 streams

But not Write them, unless you frameserve to an MPEG encoder.
