Hello,

I originally came here looking for info on removing the DVD burner on my M6809. I found that info, but since I'm here, I may as well ask: does anyone have any experience with UNIX on an m68xx? I'm going to install FreeBSD later, and any problems, benefits, etc. would be appreciated.

Also, this site is excellent.

i played with freeBSD at the beginning but now settle back into Linux. This allows me the ability to use the a64 performance better than under freeBSD on my m6805.
there are many user groups dedicated for freeBSD and m6805 out there.
u might want also try netBSD (netBSD.org) for cross info/reference for the m68xx and freeBSD

Well, I'm in X right now, though I still need to get KDE up, and I don't have wireless yet.
I'll have to look into NetBSD, thanks for the info.
