$1543.81 with tax - oops.

I ordered. It had a 34% off and a $100 stacked discount that just HAS to expire soon. Thank you for the input! (I can cancel, and will if my EPP rep can beat it).

I love the 9400's and you can upgrade to the 7900gtx down the road... You bought a great system, and I am sure you will enjoy it!
What was your pretax price? Just configured the same EXACT thing on Dell Home for $1199.00 using coupons $S?883VHTVCZF7 and 43SHS371Z9M09R for $750 and $100 off

Same exact config is $1199 + tax for me. I used this link:

http://configure.us.dell.com/dellsto...111&oc=e1705s2

and then customized it, added the two coupons, and its $1199.

I got it down to $1,703 but it wouldnt let me put in the $750 coupon

Got a different $750 coupon to work, but its $1358.50... not sure how you got the price you did. Soooo off to verify, play with numbers, and very likely cancel.

I should add, my original config has the DVD Sonic software this didnt and the 100G HD - adding those and the A/G wireless NIC is brought the price up. Some things are "defaults" on systems that others are not. Annoying!

thanks for saving my butt!

Ok, altered a few things by removing a few items, adding some(?) and I get:
$1174
$73.97tx

Total: $1247.97

This config allowed me to downgrade the wireless nic, thats just one example of how your portal was different. Some of the upgrade prices were at higher prices but it all works out? Verifying now before order.

Both coupons are only good if the regular price is $2000+

Did you try following that link and configuring from there??
For $1199 I was getting the exact same thing you got in your first config, including 3945 wireless, 100GB HD, case, 7800, burner, ultrasharp, etc. So youre paying $25 less, but not getting any of the extras. Try following the link I posted, and using both coupons to get a total of $850 off.

best I can do pre-tax with that config is $1258... Im still playing though.

Its the Sonic DVD software upgrades that were doing it.... FYI

Started with $2082 this time after adding/changing a few things. I WAS going to add BT and a mouse later but with my new found NUGZY discount, Im getting them now. Its worth it to me as I'll be moving FAR away and doing it later was going to be a pain.
Figure I "waste" ~$45-50

Dropped to the 60G drive and added the Sonic pkg and BT/Mouse. HD's where Im going are not that expensive to add later IF I need the space. It occurred to me Ive been installing my games (XPS2) on an external drive anyway and the current 60G has been plenty.

$750 off $1999+ (before, shipping, handling, tax, and restocking fees)

Short of some crazy followup by another poster, Im taking this config and will try and leverage my EPP rep for an even better price - doubtful but I'll ask. Maybe get him to throw the HD back in.
