Oh yippie dippie!!!!! I got bum farked again!
Well, on the 12th of this month I was a happy camper. Why? Well, after hours on the phone talking to supervisor after supervisor, I finally was allowed to get the two year extension on my warranty for 195 dollars. I even had two witnesses hear the AW rep that what I had bought was, in fact, to extend my warranty an additional two years.
Now, today I received the invoice in the mail, which had the receipt. I looked down at the price just to quick check that I was charged only 195 dollars, and not a dime more. Alas, the 195 was there, in clearly readable black ink. But to my surprisement, when I glanced over at the notes for the warranty, I saw that it did not read two years, but one!
So, I calmly got on the phone with TS(not CS, this was about an hour ago and CS had been closed already). I had a plan. I was going to use some sort of reverse talk on them to see what I was charged for. I asked him how much the two year warranty extension costs, and he replied 215 dollars. I was surprised, and figured somewhere along the lines my order got messed up and was changed from two years to one. So, out of sheer curiosity, I asked how much a one year warranty costs. He replied 145.
Ok, now the threat level went from minor to elevated-code-red-get-the-guns level. Keeping my cool, I told him how I was told I had purchased a 2 year warranty, and that I had two wittnesses to prove myself. He said "no, sir what I see here is one year extension".
so I asked him again, but with a sarcastic tone, "how much is the one year warranty extension?" "it is 145 dollars" "but i was charged 195 dollars, and also told that I had purchased two more years."
So, push came to shove and he told me there was nothing that could be done about it, and to call back tommorow.
So where does that leave me?
What the hell was I charged for? Why am I paying 195 dollars for a 145 dollar purchase?!?
GOD! Well, for those of you who have been reading all my past issues with this company, you will see that this is just one more thing I can add to my list of problems with the company and its inadequacy. All of this, and about 12 other AW customers still under warranty that I have got hand written testimonies from, will make quite well in my law suit if I follow through with it. You also know that I am giving the company one more chance to get things right. If, when I receive my hard drive cables, the computer does not work, I will send it in ONE LAST TIME. If it doesnt work after that, than its time to raises fists...metaphoricley speaking, of course.
