Panasonic Toughbook, old, Win95, no drivers no nothing. What do I do?

I have an old Panasonic Toughbook CF-M33. It has Windows 95. It has no floppy drive, no CD drive, no USB ports, and the PCMCIA slot has stopped working... Wonderful, we'll just reinstall the drivers, that should be the first troubleshooting step, yes? How do I get the freaking drivers onto the system? I have no network connections, I have nothing... There's a docking station port on the bottom but I have no way of taking advantage of that. It does also have an infrared port, but I'm no expert with Windows 95 networking and am not quite sure how to go about using that either. Anyone know what I need to do? It's a cool little unit, 800x600 touchscreen, Pentium with MMX (I remember when that was cool) rollerball mouse, tiny little keyboard... I just have no way to use the thing.

may I ask why the hell you would want to use it?

Windows 98 and below are use.less

Why not use it? It's small, lightweight, waterproof, and has solitaire on it!!! Besides, I have a lot of old DOS games that are much easier to make work in Win95 than they are in XP.

hey, solitaire is the bomb!

Anyway, if it has a NIC, then use a crossover cable and send the drivers that way.

Yeah, the NIC is PCMCIA... which is the only thing broken on the whole laptop. Neither PCM works, and the device manager says they work fine.

I would reinstall the os on the drive using another computer, just enough to get the drivers loaded that will give you the first step to get started. Most users that have a laptop should also have a second computer, maybe a desktop. Get a 2.5" to a 3.5" driver coverter. I know that alot of gov. agencies used the toughbooks. But I am afraid to inform you that the cost of getting yours up and going might be the difference of purchasing a new-er one. I know EBay has decent auctions for at least p3 laptops for less than $200. Just next time dont get a laptop that doesnt offer some kind of connectivity, ie network, usb, cd, something.

We bought it like a million years ago and used it for inventory updates, which has since gone to 'live' updating using Dell Latitudes and wireless networks. Much better, but I still would like to get the old one going. Thanks for the HD suggestions.
