look sleek and all, but from what i gather, one is better with an asus or a targa. or even with a barebone msi at circa $650+ that allows u to "invent" ur own 12.1" beauty
funny that gateway decides that no optical drive is the way to go, may be they r taking the no 1.44" drive a bit further ... backward evolution, sad :-)

Actually I don't want an optical drive. I want a truly ultraportable system. I would pounce on it, but Gateway doesn't ship to Canada. I want to hear some experiences with it first before I take the effort to either travel down to Washington to get it or get someone to buy it and ship to me.
