Lol, Dell would never send out a M1710 to replace a M140. Hell, they hardly wanted to send me a replacement WLAN card when the one in my system was bad.

I think this is possible. Dell's incompentence works both ways. They can stick it to you big and they can give it to you big.

well anyways.. my order says it will arrive on the 22 but hopefully sooner because i m in testing right now..as soon as i get it i will post everything i can so u ppl wont call me a liar :-/... anyways i had bought a printer 2 and they send it to me the day it was soppuse to b and i never asked for a refund, plus y would i b lying i would actually prefer the m140 i barely play games i just wanted it for skool.

Even though its a 7900GS...it should do great

i personally want a 7900GTX

and you cant get a 7900GTX anywhere....since dell more than likely has a agreement with nVidia

major difference...the 512MB card is the top notebook card in the world right now...and will be for sometime

Dude, i would keep your laptop. In all honest, that thing is worth $2750
