Acer 1681/PQService/restoration

Thread Starter
I have an Acer 1681 which doesn't have any recovery disks. Previously I could press ALT and F10 to enter the recovery console at boot up but that nolonger seems to want to work.

Using partition magic I can see the hidden partition (PQSevice) and all the files.
  1. Can I copy this information to create a bootable DVD? How would I do this?
  2. How can I get the ALT and F10 thing to work again.

Many thanks

Colin
