call of duty on 5150 Help

When I play Call of Duty on 1600 by 1200 on my 5150 the fan keeps running pretty much the whole game. Is it safe to play it with the fan running the whole game like that? I just dont want it to overheat. I have the 64 Meg version of the nvidia 5200. Do you think its safe for me to play this game for a decent period of time on this notebook?

Yeah your fine ,Even my 8600 runs the fan constantly during game play including call of duty so don't worry...its doing its job, its when you don't hear the fan during game play that you should worry, the laptop video card and proccesor get very hot during gameplay so the fan has to work constantly unlike the normal day to day computer use.....

The video is at its max of 1600 by 1200

nah, but what are your game settings? not that it makes a difference, but when your system locks up, then you know you limits. keep pushing it til it stops, and then reset and tone it down a bit.

So, you are telling me that you have the game running at full everything? maxed out?
