hi, i just made a fix to correct LCD backlight flicker in mi notebook Emachines M-6811, as posted in
http://emachines.fizi.ca/guides.php?ID=2 (Disassembly of LCD Frame)
http://emachines.fizi.ca/guides.php?ID=4 (Correcting LCD Backlight Flicker)
i checked everything after finish and looked fine but the display didn't turn on since then.
if i connect the notebook to a external monitor everything works fine.
The cables and the connections seems ok, but i wonder if i´ve a problem with the inverter. At open sight there is no way to say if
something is wrong, is there a way to check with multimeter or electronic tester where is the problem?

] come to this thread and say well ya know its company standard, deal with it... is it also company standard to send out junk laptops and for them to have your laptop more than the owner throughout the warrnty? so dont come here and try to hijack this thread with your lame crap!!
If Gateway had used a little touch of Glue on the cable going into the inverter, they wouldnt have any of these screen flicker issues.
