Acer 5652WLMi Wireless Problem?

I have the Acer 5652WLMi and the wireless internet works perfectly when the AC adapter is in and running, but if I turn on the laptop and run it off of the battery, when Windows boots up, it never connects to my wireless router, it says none are avaliable - yet if I click on the wireless icon on the taskbar and click repair, it connects fine

Is this a normal thing for Acer laptops when running from the battery?

Not normal at all. Try and reinstall the drivers maybe? Is this on factory Windows install? Have you changed any wireless preferences?

Try to change Wireless LAN settings in Acer ePower Menagement. If it's set to Maximum Battery Life scheme, your wireless card is off by default.
