I'm not a big fan of the heatpipe technology.

I own a dell xps desktop .......and the Dell 6800gto card would run hot...most dell card s will run hot...I exchanged it with a 7800gt-oc BFG card and it runs 20c lower than the dell card did...its running at 60c where the dell was running at 80c..............

aslong as it wont hurt anything in this laptop or card im happy.

everything is on track with games and bench marks as they should be.

7k 05 14k in 03 might be more because the 03 score is with stock clocks.

oh and 06 is 3350 stock.

but it shouldint hurt the 7800gtx is ment too run hot thress hold is 115c

my scores are about the same....thing with benchmarks is the score could be there but in real world the performance may not.......I just red an article where conroe benchmarks real high in a raid configuration but in real world the user acualy saw degraded performance....I have always said that bench marks are more for braggin rights...my desktop I would stretch the gpu by overclocking it big time....it would show super high score in benchmarks but when I played a game with it set like that I acualy saw very poor performance....running the utilty at pcpitstop.com is just about all ya need to check out a system for performance...I think its more acurate that those others.....when I ran it with the video carsd overclocked it did drop the score on pcpitstop while mark 05 showed it with a highier score...so go figure....I just look at what its doing as I am playing games......try to use the max settings when possible...both amd and pentium still have some bottlenecks to work out...although pentium seems to have more bottlenecks than amd.....2007 will be a trying year for both cpu companies and gpu companies.......we wil have to see what they will do with the 64 bit and also have to see if game techs will utilize the 64 bits and the dual core tech......hyperthreading could have been more that what us users saw with it ...if the software makers would have utilized it to the fullist....thats wher the problem realy lies in the pc world......software guru's and hardware guru's need to sort of work togeather.....thats why apple/mac has done so well over the years....thgey build the machines and make the software......while pc is still put togeather by tons of companies........would you agree

Yes, and I would also agree that that's the reason mac's have historically had such a small list of programs to choose from compared to pc.
