Help modding 3.7 drivers to work with my 5680

I was asking this over at the Powernotebooks forums, but they are a little slow.

I want to use the 3.7 Catalyst drivers for my lappy, but after I mod them with MobileMod, it still gives me an error in the setup "No graphic driver found". So I tried uninstalling the 3.95's, and ran on a basic driver. Same problem. I am sure that the setup isnt overwriting files that I modded with mobilemod(which ran successfully).

What could be the problem?

Are you modifying the correct file? The .inf file for win2k is C2_xxxx, and it's CX_xxxx for winXP.

If you're sure it's the right file, use the device manager to update the driver, instead of running the driver install exe after you've modified it.

I am modding the correct file, and I cant seem to do it through the device manager since I uninstalled the previous ones to try to fix the problem, and it doesnt really know what video card is there and there is no section for that right now for some reason. Should I try to reinstall the 3.95's and try from there?

You could. I'm just puzzled as to why it's not working.
