GeForce Go 7200 or 6150?

So, the new dv2000 models will apparently include either a GeForce Go 7200 series GPU, for the Intel chipped notebooks, or a GeForce Go 6150, for the AMD chipped notebooks.

My question is, which is more powerful? Logic would tell me that, according to their numbers, the 7200 would be more powerful. Is this true? What are the main differences between these two GPUs?

Thanks

Anyone?

the 6150 is an integrated graphics solution. as a result, the dedicated 7200 would seem better.

but the desktop counterpart of the 6150 is no push over since it performs better than ATI's 200M.

Cool, thanks. Are there any benchmarks out there comparing these two cards? Would I be able to play Halo at 1200x768 without any problems on either of these? What about BF2, HL2, etc? Thanks again!

I am not sure where the Go 7400 comes in, in the Geforce range, but I just went from the AMD Turion dv-5130 to the Core Duo dv-5178, the first having the ATI 200m express and the latter having the Geforce Go 7400. frankly the Geforce completely anihilated the Ati card. I have an ATI 1900xt in my desktop and wanted to stay with ATI but the 200m was really barely able to run any game at decent quality and frames ( I am not a big gamer but I like my games to look good).
So if the ATI you are referring to is an ATI 200m express with 128mb dedicated memory, I would pass on it.

So, it looks like you can purchase a DV2000 with the nVidia 6150 video card as an option, but still no sign of the nVidia 7200.

Anyone know when this will become available for the dv2000? I thought it was supposed to be an option when the launched the notebook.

Thanks
