Hi there!

I have just recently treated myself to a Acer 8204 and I'm very happy with it apart from the DVD/CD drive rattling noise. The screen is great and the noise that people seems to complain about coming from the laptop, well, I don't have that problem with mine and I must be one of the few lucky ones who got away with it. Mine is actually as quiet as a mouse!
The only problem I do have with mine is the DVD/CD drive which seems to vibrate and rattle whenever it is in used but when I press my finger upwards on the left side of it, the rattling seems to stop. I noticed that the left side of the line/corner once it is inserted back is slightly bigger than on the right side and perhaps this is the cause of the rattling sound. What I would like to is - is this a known problem for all Acer 8204 owners and is this a problem of the manufacturing which can be solved by returning it for that problem to be solved? If so, will they gladly get the problem sorted out?
