I purchased a 3790 in Sept, 2004. I am trying to install the required software for a dial up connection which the ISP has given me. When attempting the install the wizard says that no modem is found and takes me to a screen which will install a modem.
When I quit that screen it says a modem is found on COM3. When troubleshooting the modem it says to make sure that the COM port is enabled and when I try to do that, I only find COM1 in the list.
I am so confused. Is ther supposed to be COM3 available?

Second. when I try to log in to on of the two users on the 3790, it takes at least 4 minutes if not more to get to teh desktop. Any ideas of what to look for?
