I dont know whether this is normal or not, but when I connect the laptop to my Hi-Fi via the headphone jack, the bass seems very tinny. I Have tried all the common windows settings, as well as the Realtek Audio control panel, but in all cases the sound is boosted/altered, but the bass still seems like its coming from a laptop (i.e. "tinny")

Any suggestions/fixes that you know of?

(My hifi is connected to 2 speakers, its not a surround system and im using the aux in at the back)
