Driving three monitors from a geforce go 6800 ultra?

So this theoretically might be possible, but I can't figure out how to do it on my XPS Gen 2. There's the laptop display, the digital out, and the analog out, but I can't get more than 2 to activate at a time.

Any way to drive all 3?

Matrox Graphics Inc. announces TripleHead2Go™, an external upgrade that adds support for using 3 monitors at a time. The easy-to-install unit simply connects to the monitor output of a computer. The operating system treats TripleHead2Go like a monitor supporting resolutions 3 times as wide as standard resolutions and TripleHead2Go uses Matrox patent-pending technology to divide the monitor output from the computer into 3 separate displays. The displays respectively show the left, center, and right portions of this "monitor". This announcement follows the recent introduction of DualHead2Go™, the world's first multi-display upgrade of this type.

Only 2 different displays are supported at any one time (maybe three if they all display the same picture - I am not sure). It is possible to buy an adapter so that you can use three, but it is rather expensive.

No, limited to 2 at a time. Not entirely sure why but I think it is due to the fact that there are only 2 RAMDACs that are used to drive the monitors. Havn't looked into it myself so like I said I'm not sure, but I'm sure somebody that knows for sure will be able to tell you exactly why. I have seen DVI splitters and USB solutions (but very limited in capability for the USB), not sure how effective they are though...

Awww, man. Well thanks for the info.

It is also possible to run another monitor through an adapter in the PC Card slot - low performance, so you couldn't play games, but probably good enough for other things.
