I had my sights set on a laptop with a Turion 64x2 CPU in it, so I was a little bummed when the original May 9 release date was pushed back until June. But now I read that the Turion 64x2 will be released on May 17. Can anyone else confirm this? Any idea how long it takes notebook manufacturers to incorporate newly released CPUs into their lineup?

I read on a news site someplace, about a month ago, that the release of the Turion X2 could spark a price war between Intel and AMD; meaning cheaper notebooks for us working stiffs.
I still haven't settled on the Turion X2 though. I want to wait and see what kind of notebooks will be built on it. I think ASUS has one coming out (the A6T). I'm curious to see if Acer will put out a new version of the Ferrari, built on the Turion X2.
And if I decide not to go the Turion route I may get a Sager 9750, or perhaps even an Apple MacBook Pro.
