I recently emailed tech (only once) regarding the pale look of the WXGA screen I had and I got an answer the next day saying that its a common complaint with this type of screen and that they would upgrade me to the WUXGA truelife scren if I was willing to deal with the smaller everything that comes with the huge resolution the screen tags with. I thought it would be helpful to let those of you with 1705's know that if you seem unsatisfied with the screen you got due to pale color tones then Dell might replace your screen with the more vivid WUXGA screens.
