I am on the market for a new notebook...I believe in good value and I do not play game on my notebooks...

So, what could be a better offer than this Acer?

I might not have one but I know a good deal when I see one, and that's a good deal. Plus, the X1400 can still do casual gaming.

Not too bad. Acers are nice if you dont need to travel with them too much and gaming isnt your first priority. But they do come pretty well equiped for the price.
Boy, mine runs hot tho.

How hot?

I have an old 1522LMi and it does get hot, but I can always hold it on my lap.
