Bluetooth vs USB ?

Is there any benefit between using a USB port for my wireless mouse and keyboard, or getting a Bluetooth one?

Surely the bluetooth module connects using USB anyway right?

Depends. Both will give you desired results, however Bluetooth has advanced features over it's wireless connectivity. Not that the mouse and keyboard take advanage of those features.

Some Bluetooth modules come built in to laptops, similar to the WiFi. If you don't have this, then you'll have to opt for the Bluetooth module, which is the same as the USB wireless module.

Though, with the bluetooth module, I am pretty sure you'll be able to connect to any device that is Bluetooth enabled, so I think the Bluetooth module that comes with the Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse will be able to do more use than just connect to the keyboard and mouse.

i have to endorse logitech's mx1000 bt mouse that comes with either the dinovo bt laser or the mx5000 desktop. very nice mouse and accurate. the only thing is the internal battery so you can't change it if it goes dead on you when you are on the road.
