Fx7 Ordered! - Page 2

Guess who just got his shipping number?!!!!

However, in my status page it is still in the "Scrutiny" section. Hm.
Anyway, I ordered the overnight shipping so my new FX7 should be here tomorrow?!! YEAH!
I don't have a digital camera to post pics when it gets here, but maybe I can borrow one. I know some people want to see what the base silver looks like; but I will definitely post about its performance and any issues I have.
I cannot wait!

I got it! This last Friday, but I've been working all weekend and will be installing everything soon. I am installing my own XP, an old one, and need the Service Pack but am having a problem with Microsoft Update. Anyone know where I can get the SP2 other than MS Website?

i forgot i never took pics of mine. (base silver no paint) the brushed aluminum in the lid looks nice. I would like to take my laptop in for Saphirre Black Metallic, and maybe some other little things. I might send it to smooth when a go DX10 card is available. The 7900GTX is very fast. but i dont think it warrants the upgrade as much as a DX10 card. (gotta be ready for crysis and vista)

UPDATE:
So I kept getting a blue screen when trying to install Windows, called tech. support and after a series of testing things, like memory and such I have sent my laptop back to them.
This could be depressing but I'd rather have everything in tiptop shape before I get really going with it.
Anyway, here's to Patience...

Sorry to hear the bad news. I ordered my machine about the same time you did and I received an email last Friday asking me for the customs graphs that I want. My machine has been at the paint shop for over four weeks now and someone has realized that they can not find the file that I sent when I ordered. I guess it will be another three weeks before I get it.
