I have replaced some parts on a desk top but never on a laptop. I have a Toshiba Satellite 1005 series that I set to the side last year when I was told the problem was the power jack and they would charge me $200 to replace it. When I discovered this website I gained the confidence that I may be able to do it myself.

If so how?
