Thank you for all the responses. I have been busy every day lately and have been hard pressed to find time to get on the boards.
So...to adress a few of the replies.
As to why I want to shy away from Dell. I don't like their customer service. I personally do not believe that a company should outsource all of their customer service calls (at least that are non-corporate) to people that do not speak clear english. I have enough trouble with native english speakers. In addition, the slow decomposition of parts seem quicker on Dells and it is nearly impossible to keep my two machines running at an acceptibe speed. Few of my friends have similar issues as I have had with my Dells (such as 1-3 minute lag when the computer starts up) and their settings are identical to mine. I know this becuase I set them up.
Also, everyone owns a dell now. I like to stand out when it comes to technology. It's my thing.
I did heavily consider the new Macbook as I would absolutely love to have OSX and WinXP Pro running, but I do not think that the GMA950 will be able to support any of the graphic-intensive games out there.
THe x1600 does seem like it is the strongest graphics card out there at this time, so I will most likely look at systems with those cards only. Unless something better comes out, of course.
As for what games I play I would like to be able to at least run WoW comfortably, but would prefer if it could handle CS:S and Oblivion. I know Oblivion is a very graphics-intensive game, so I am not expecting much in terms of that. If I could get CS:S on it, I would be more than delighted.
So are there any other systems besides the W3J that have the x1600 as of now?
