Cool, thanks, I just got my E1405 yesterday. I have mixed feelings but its my first laptop, and let me tell you I think its pretty damn cool to have a laptop now so I'm happy.

Do you happen to know why it says "Strike Zone" on the bottom of one of your laptops?

The strike zone was made to protect the HDD if you happen to drop your laptop. There is a piece of rubber next the the Strike Zone letters. I didn't know the e1405 had that too

I inspected this "strike zone" and both covers and harddrive enclosures for the 630m and the E1405 and they are identical for the most part... dunno if it's more marketing or what.

Could you take a picture of the E1405 closed with a magazine on top of it? l'd just like to get a bit of perspective of its size.

Thanks!
