Well... Here another weekend has passed and it doesn't look like anyone has gotten any updates from AW on m9700 deliveries...

Unless there is flurry of phase updates in the next couple of days, I am willing to bet we will all (those of us in the US) be celebrating our nation's 230th birthday without the aid of our new Aurora m9700's...

Oh well, at least I will get to set things on fire and blow stuff up in real life. Not even 2 7900gs's can beat that...

Here's to an eventful week in the m9700 phase game...

Should I say it? WIll I get in trouble for saying it?

*grins*

If you buy the right dell you can have all the explosions it can handle...

If you look at the description of phase 4 it says they will notofy you via email if there is a shortage.

"Phase 4: (Pre-Production)
The inventory that will be used to custom build the PC is being pulled and inspected. In the rare occurrence that a PC component is not readily available, you will be notified via email."

I haven't received said email yet, but I did order on 5/17/06. I'll re-edit this if I receive an email either way.

Apparently they sent out an email on Friday with the same info for me as above. However, I have no record of it.

From what I was just told on the phone, they have no idea when they're receiving the backordered parts at this moment, they "should be hearing something about it at the end of the week".

Personally, I am not the kind of person to pay $3000+ on something to wait 2 months for it. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt (i.e. waiting till I hear back at the end of the week), but if it's delayed until mid-July... I'll just take my ball and go home. (I don't do well waiting)
