Funny story

So I called on Thursday morning to check the status and was told still waiting on the screen/card. (Well, they said parts are backordered, my assumption is it was the screen... but they offered me no choices to speed it up)

After some mulling, I had finally decided to give up the ghost and so I called back late Thursday afternoon (~7pm their time) and got a nice rep named Raina.

Before I even talked about refund or changing to another model or anything, she told me she wanted to double-check on the hold up. After a few minutes on hold, she comes back and tells me that they're waiting on "XP Media Center" as it is backordered.

Huh?! So after spending a bit of time getting my order changed to XP Home (I can re-install to Pro later if needed), I am now in Phase 5.

I don't know if any AW folks read this, but Raina was extremely helpful and polite even after she had to stay well after her work time to make this happen for me.

So... even the order status page says Phase 5 for me now. Wohoo!

In Production (both my orders for m9700) for each.

Therefore I think I'm good for shipping on 7/3 unless they are lying.

7/3 is my estimated ship date too, but by the order status on the website I'm still phase 3...

I haven't received anything from AW regarding my shortages But if everyone is short MCE, then I am probably short that as well

I know support and customer service will be open monday and tuesday, and I'm pretty sure the manufacturing facilities will be open monday, but I'd bet they get tuesday off...
