Will do HH - I might just post it here, then.. I can pretend I bought an Alienware then (I always wanted a PC with glowing alien eyes )

I saved a good £800 on the price vs. Alienware UK - computer gear is expensive over here Then promptly spent a chunk of that £800 on a new precision screwdriver set, AS5, ArctiClean, swabs and a CoolerMaster laptop cooler

I can't believe I'm planning on dismantling a £2000 laptop on arrival.. I blame you guys entirely

On It's way! Finally!

Just got my tracking number, it's being shipped out today and scheduled for delivery on the 13th! I'll post some pics when i get it! I'll leave the review up to Hammerhead and those guys!

Yargh

How long did it take many of you to go from Phase 5 to Phase 8? I was told on thursday that I had entered phase 5 on wednesday (however the order status page showed 3). I checked the order status page today and it finally said 5 (it never hit 4 at all). I'm just curious how long I have to wait. It was bad enough that we all were waiting but now that some people have theirs i'm going nuts waiting!

BTW the C/S guy I just talked with sucked. It felt like the guy just checked the order status website and didn't check any internal status. This was verified when he proceeded to read off (word for word) the description of phase 5.....

Mine got stucked on phase 3 for almost 3 weeks, then yesterday it showed phase 5, this morning showed phase 8! Couple of hours a go phase 9! And not long ago...ufff..I got the e-mail w/ the confirmation and all! Hang in there! Your's should be shipping tomorrow or wed.

Well... my laptop is about 50 miles from my house right now... I will be getting it tomarrow. Dont worry cause I will post lots and LOTS of pics!

Yeah before mine shipped, I had the same thing. I wrote an email and griped because every other person I talked to always put me on hold to check the notes on the order. The next day it shipped. Wednesday cannot come too soon for me!!!!

I get to call CS Wednesday to ask for a new estimated shipping date. I talked to them this morning and apparently there was a small issue with my check that had to be cleared and I've only just reached phase four. I also recieved an email a few days ago about a slight delay thanks to backordered parts (the mini pci wireless adapter). The person I talked to said they would get a shipment this week. Hopefully they will.
I'm hoping for a delivery sometime next week.

Yeah... Just looked and it left that place to come even closer so I am 100% sure I will get mine tomarrow. Unfortunentally I have night classes at my college from 5-10, but I will try to get some pics of it up here for everyone to check out.

i was also told the wireless cards were on backorder and that mine would go into production as soon as they came through the door but i was given no estimate on the time they would get them

Yep, it's amazing that there's nothing anywhere on the web about this, but Evesham has it up already...

If you wouldn't mind, download nibitor, extract the bios for your cards and post it here for everyone that wants to overclock. If you don't have anywhere to post it for download, I'll send you my email address by PM and you can email it to me.

I'm sure anyone that does this will be a hero around here for a while...

I would also love to find out about how overclocking goes. I'm more interested in how efficient the cooling system is for if I ever upgrade to new video cards or a new CPU. Also, is the TV tuner upgradable in the future? The more I hear about this beast the more impatient I get. I hit phase 8 this morning!!
