This is the opposite of most "monitor doesn't turn off when I close the lid" question. My monitor turns off when I close the lid, its doesn't go on sleep mode and such because I've set up the power scheme option to do nothing when I close the lid. However, when I open up the lid again, I cannot get the screen to turn back on. I tried it out by playing some music and closing the lid and the music is still playing. When I open up the lid again, the screen continues to stay black. Any ideas? I'm using the default video drivers that came with the Dell cd.
