E1705 Sound Problems

I recently got a Dell E1705 with the Audigy upgrade and it is replacing my Inspiron 9300. The audio coming from the speakers is very tingy, almost devoid of all bass. This is in comparison to my 9300 from what I believe should have identical speakers. Wondering if anyone else is experiencing this problem with the E1705 or if its just me. I know laptop audio from the speakers isn't the greatest but the 9300 had tollerable sound quality and considerably more bass than this E1705 does.

hey, you just have to adjust the base by using the creative sound utility click on the blue speaker icon in the bottom right and adjust the base level.
