PS my 7800 OC's quite well...using coolbits it have my clocks at 346/847....

ALSO does the 35 ebay coupon stack with the current 750 off??? if so that would take it down to roughlyy 120 dollars...
Just get the 7900gs as a spare part when you have money and upgrade it yourself later on from the 7800, it's plug and play, simple.

Agreed but here's a suggestion: Call Dell and tell the rep. you want to return the laptop. If they don't offer you incentives to keep the laptop, ask them bluntly, "I want to return this laptop because I wanted the 7900 GS but you guys didn't have it when I ordered this a week ago - unless you can give me some incentives to keep it". That should prompt them to give you some nice coupons + cash back to your account. If they give you enough to cover the $154 in returning it then go for it. When I was returning mine the lady offered me $190 cash back to my account + $200 in coupons. Now that I think about it I should've taken it but I'm impatient and I didn't want to wait for the 7900 GS to be available at Dell spare parts.

Can someone who is buying a new e1705 system, add an extra 9cell spare battery? I want to get one but it's going for $135 at dell accessories , i should have got an extra one with the system... maybe you can sell one to me for $10 profit or something, i think it goes for only $70 with a new system...

Anyone???....

$190 back to my credit card (well dell preferred account) and she was also going to give me $200 in coupons I could use online to buy whatever I wanted off their website. So if something cost $200 it would've been free.

Those are 2 x $100 coupons and they are not stackable. so you would have to use them on two separate carts. They gave me two for not returning mine and recently they screwed up and gave me 12 of them. I got a bunch of goodies for my laptop.

Yeah, when I purchased my M1710 I called to return my M170 and the rep convinced me not to by offering me $64 credit to my account and 3 x $100 coupons. I took the offer but after a couple days I emailed the rep that I had not received my coupons and that I would just return the laptop if I did not get them. The next day they showed up and the next day 12 more showed up. I purchase all kinds of goodies like a usb external hard drive, two Dell 1gb 667 memory modules, Dell Ditty 512 mp3 player for my daughter, digital photo frame for my wife, Logitech G7 Laser mouse, Logitech Bluetooth gameing headphones, Targus Messenger laptop carrying bag, 130 watt power supply, and a bunch of other stuff.

I'm buying one as we speak. I found this site while checking reviews. I have any references you like and am an online rep at bodybuilding.com for Ergopharm nutrition (slated) It's showing it's $101 (9cell spare, I'm getting a 9 cell as standard) and I won't ask a cent more if you all here can answer some questions for me before I submit my order tonight. -Michael

I was planning tonight on ordering a Sony FJ, pretty base. When I saw the 750 off at Dell, I was like heck, I'm getting something nice. It's just for business travel, but now it'll be for gaming too lol.

Get one for $70 from Balthazar or Bluedevils32701 here on the forums (check the For Sale forum)

hey thanks for getting back to me, $101 seems too expensive, they probably raised the price, some other members in the forum pointed me to some good deals for the 9 cell ($70 + shipping). But really, THANKS for offering to help!

LOL,

Bros- any way I can save before I place my order. You guys seem to have the system all figured out.

Is it worth the extra 234 for the 2.16 over the 2g?

1g 667mhz

60g 7200

UltraSharp

Is it worth the bigger warrenties?

This will be my third Dell, but the one I'm on now has made it 4 years with just a new monitor and a new VC, all covered.

Why can't I get the GTX video card? urrrr
