I just got a new laptop (HP DV1520US), and I'm trying to figure out what to do with my OLD laptop (Dell Inspiron 5160). It's not even 2 years old. The HD was reformatted 2 weeks ago, and is running great, but the problem is something is wrong in the outlet for the powercord of the computer. It flickers from battery to adapter, and the outlet in the computer is loose. Dell said, I *think* the main board needed to be replaced, but I couldn't really understand the man I was talking to, so I could be wrong about that. And that it would cost about $400 to get it replaced.
I am just wondering what would be a good price to expect for the laptop, or if there was anything else I could do with it.
Any input would be appreciated!
