GPU overheat, need help

Dell i9300
Intel Centrino 1.7 Ghz
1.0GB
NVIDIA GeFoce Go 6800
Driver: 77.30

When no programs are running the GPU temperature is around 58. However, when I'm playing CS: Source, the temperature can reach 90 Degrees, even with max fan speed.

I did not overclock my card, all special effects off.

any ideas? Is it just dust and dirt around the card ?

use either a vacuum or air duster and just blow/suck on the fans and see if you can get some dust out of there.. because that is most likely the problem

Yep, if you have never cleaned it before or opened it, that can cause a problem. 90 degrees isnt too high though to get worried about.

90 degrees may not be too high, but I think the high temperature is causing an fps drop in the game. Because at the beginning it runs at 100+ fps and after like 40 minutes it drops to 30-50 suddenly.

:O and the core slowdown threshold is 97 degrees. Pretty close.

I have the same problem with my Gen 2. Not matter how much I blow out and clean the fans, I still hit 95c during gaming on the GPU.
