If you are willing to get a heavy 17' notebook and you care about gaming then the e1705 may be your best choice.
If you want the cheapest 15.4' laptops you might want to choose between the Acer with 1030$
and the dell e1505 with 11~~(depending on tax) that has the very same specs except that the dell has a better processor (1.8) but the acer on the other hands offer the builtin webcam, sexier looks, better ports layout, gig ethernet, sc reader(if you care about security) and arguably better screen.
If I were you I will get the dell e1505 and bump the processor up to 2.0 and the screen resolution to sxga (which is not an option on the Acer.. they all come with 1.6, wxga)
