Thread Starter
I'm really excited about this week. After the sale of part of my company, I'm being moved to a new building. And I'm going from a cube to an office WITH a window! woohoo!

Also, going to visit a certain female friend of mine for 4 whole days. woot!

I called today they said I am in Phase 6 though the web site shows me at phase 5. They said I actually did not enter production until 1/27 so I should it should ship by 2/27. You guys think it will ship by then?

i emailed them today and asked them why phase 4 takes so long, sicne it shoudl take no longer than 2 hours by my estimation... they responded saying that "they have no awnser" and that "my dream machine is being built and i must be patient"

i was in phase 3 for 4 days.... hopefully phase 4 wont be twice as long

What the web site says and where your laptop actualy is are two different things that web site is rarely right and the aswer why it takes so long is that you laptop is now just sitting there waiting to get into the next phase the reps don't want to tell you this but its the truth because its sounds bad to say its just sitting there. The fact is there is one maybe 2 lines these things get built on at least thats my opinion by what I see and there are laptops like yours that are waiting to get into production the phases are sort of a way to passify you till it actually gets going somewhere. So it prabably doesn't take more than 2hrs to do that phase but it remains in that phase till the laptop before it can get out of its phase so yours can move on. If yours was the only laptop in the line its would proably only take 1 maybe 2 days to get through all phases but since there are probably 50 or 60 laptops in front of yours your lappy has to simply wait its turn. This is why the phases as good intentioned as they are are not exactly honest. They need long phases in between that say JUST SITTING THERE DOING NOTHING.

So what you're saying is that when I order my Laptop this week, I will probably never see it because I have Darthbeavis in front of me, who has obviosly constipated the phase process in line 1 for whatever reason. I then have jamaster14 in front of me in line 2, who for whatever reason wants an additional HD with Hedhat 9, as well as a TV Card, God knows how long that will take for them to figure out. So I should really be PO'ed at them and not AW if my computer never sees the light of day, you sure your working for AW Goo
