SM BUS Controller

Hi Guys,
I installed the new AMD Turion 64 Driver (May 2006) and after the installation Windows tries to find a new hardware. At Device Manager it appears as SM BUS Controller. I can't find any drivers to this device.
Anyone?

OK I found it. At the Acer Ferrari 4000 Series System CD (Disk 1) in Drivers > SB Drivers > SM BUS.

I see the smbus driver all the time on nvidia chipsets, its all to do with the hard disk, and cd drive controller. early versions used to cause misreporting of cd and dvd drives.

hope this helps
the smbus driver is usually included on Nforce drivers

SMBUS is intel stuff, get the intel Chipset drivers and it will make the unknown device go away.
