centrino 1.73 mhz vs a turion 2.0? which is better

hello guys

which processor is better?

1.73 centrino
2mb L2 cache
533mhz fsb

vs

2.0 amd turion
1600mhz fsb
but only has 1mb LS2 cache

i sorta understand what fsb and L2 cache means but what does it mean in the real world situations?

any info would be great... thanks

and how does the current turions rank vs the duo core centrinos? which ones are better for multitasking, gaming etc.

1) there is no centrino processor, its called a pentium m

2) between those 2, the turion will prolly be better due to a faster clock speed

in that case the turion > pentium M mainly because of the higher clock speed.

However you can buy a pentium M 400MHz FSB and pinmod it to run at 533Mhz, wich will bump up the clock to 2.13GHz

I guess i fell for the marketing ploy of intel... I meant Pentium M ( i new that actually, lol) but what is the big difference from the PM FSB 533mhz vs the Turions 1600fsb? is a turion better or Pentium M in terms of gaming and overal performance? For comparison sakes 1.73 P M vs A 1.8 Turion? thanks

Once again, a 1.8 turion will prolly defeat the 1.73 with a slight margin.
