Correct power adapter for Geforce Go 7800 GTX

Thread Starter
Hey guys,
I recently bought a Go 7800 GTX off ebay and am trying to determine if I need another 130w power adapter (already got the 9 cell). I already have one that came with my i5150 but it's revision A00. I read that I need one that's A02. Any one know why and what would happen if I used the A00? Thanks.

no the revision really doesn't matter I have 10 A00 adapters here new from dell and they ALL (yes I tested all of them) work with the 7800 the problem with some of the older adapters were just that people were buying used ones that were crap.

I bought 2 5150 adapters from ebay for use with my XPSgen2/7800GTX (cheers again Bal`thzar)
They are both revA00 and have behaved perfectly.
Which is more than I can say for my revA02, far too often the LED on the adapter goes out and it stops working.
IMHO its pot luck wether you get a bad one.
Use the one you've got until it goes wrong, no need to waste money buying another.
