What up all... I do not have a DvD-Rw player my self. But for those with the 4x Alienware realesed this today.

4x DvD-Rw Firemware update :

For Models: AREA51:M (NEW MODEL)


This update will fix the "Unable to autheticate disk within time limit" error message. Instructions: after downloading the file, decompress it and execute the program. Please have a technician on the line at the time you perform the update.

This fixed the authentication problems I get when I try to load Unreal 2003 and Magic Battlegrounds with the +R drive!

I was runing through th d/l's after I got back from work. And Iv been reading the issues withthe DVd-rw's. Glad it helped.
