international plug adapters

hi.... im looking for an international adapter..... thats kind like the "round Euro" ones... its to be used in INDIA... i dont need a voltage convertor... just the adapter... and preferble with ground

Just stop in at your local Radio Shack, electronics store, or even Wal-Mart or Target. I often see them in the areas that sell cords, or in the luggage and travel sections.

but ... the ground looks to be plastic... i dont like that


i mean... how dangerous would it be to run a laptop on 220v 240v ungrounded? considering my laptop power brick will accept 100-240 volts

Not any more dangerous than running it on 110V. I've been using my laptops on 220 allllllll day long for the last 8 years and have never had a power related problem. Keep in mind mty laptops were all purchased from the US and brought down to Chile and none of them even had a gound.

hmm... does ur laptop have ground originaly?

what exactly is the point of having ground?
