Im looking to spend around 700 on this laptop. The deal is for the E1405 that starts at 700, i can boost it up to 999$ and use the 300$ off 999+. making the total 700. But im holding out for a coupon that will stack with my 12% epp discount and get an even better discount. the 300$ off 999+ coupon isnt stackable with any percentage off. Am i better off just taking that or waiting for an EPP coupon that will stack up and give me more then 30% off. I havent seen any around yet ;/ The current epp rate is 22% off but that still isnt as good as the 300 off coupon. Thanks.

When using the EPP and coupons be aware how they stack. Lets say you get a 40% coupon. And lets say your current Epp is 22%. Some people think its 40% + 22% = 62% total off and thats not how it works.
The way Dell works this is that the 40% rebate is applied and then *after* that the 22% EPP is applied to the remaining price.
Example:
$700 x 40% coupon = $280
$700 - $280 = 420
$420 x .22% EPP= $92.40
$400 - 92.40 = $307.60
Final price: $307.60 not including taxes or any extra peripherials ordered.
Its not:
$700 x .62% (40% coupon + 22% EPP) = $434
$700- $434 = $266, Final price.
Not saying you were thinking it that way but seen alot of people do it so thought I would just point it out in case anyone didnt know how Dell does it.

Just compute them like this:
If you use the $300 and $35 off from the home section.
$999 - $300 - $35 = $664
If you use the 25% off (Dell emailed these coupons today) then:
$999 - 25% = $749.25 - 12% = $659.34
You will end up saving $4.66 if you buy via EPP. Another advantage of buying via EPP is that there are no restocking fees if returning something (that is what the manager told me when I returned my e1505).
So use EPP
Also remember to use the 2% off if paying by DPA
Hope this helps
