Ordered last night They say that is in testing allready is that normal. Mabey it will get here sooner than they say ship date 2/23/2003. Cant wait after reading all your threads had an old 8100 gave it to the kid in the Air Force good excuse to buy new one.

You will like that 8600, I have about the same specs and its working great. Even tried Far Cray demo and it played with the max.

It goes fast, then you get to boxing and they have to fly it over from Malaysia. Takes a few days. Then it is on its way. Only prob is that you will get the machine before you get a tracking number

So by that logic...I just may get my 8600 by the end of the week!!

Congrats to both Cutter and Loki!!

What others have said about the shipping speed is right. Mine shipped a full week ahead of the declared ship date...and I received the tracking number on the same day my 8600 arrived!

You'll the port replicator! Mine arrived yesterday, because of a backorder, and it's very slick. It definitely helps organize the cable jungle on my desk.

Just checked its been in boxing sence last night. Glad to hear the good words on the machine.

A little tip, If you are not happy, shoot them an email with the prob. I have had some probs with my screen, Third one, and this time they sent me a refurb one Getting another one.

I will not take any thing less than almost perfect And they will keep getting the UXGA sent back untill I get one that I am happy with.

Other than the screen probs the machine has been great. The email CS has responded to every email within a few hours.

They even told me to think about sending this one back for another machine.
