i am thinking of bying this notebook , it has a celeronm 380
i want it just for internet, but i dont know if this is noisy enough (the cpu fun)
, and if someoe knows will i be able to change the cpu with a pentium m in the future;

full specs:
celeronm 380
combo cdrw
256 ddr2
40gb hard disk/5400
ati radeon xpress m200
15.4 trubrite wxga

IF that's about all you want the laptop for, maybe some MS office type work th cleron will do great. Heck I do alot more than that on my old pentium 3 laptop. Upgrading the cpu to a PM or Duo may be possible depending on the chipset, but will also void your warranty so it's not recomended. If you want the PM/Duo, look for a laptop that comes with it from the factory. With duo out now the PM's are dropping in price heavily.
