would anyone be willing to try flashing their dual pipe gs with the 7900gtx bios.

From the research I have been doing the GS really is just the GTX core with a quad pipe laser locked. a lot of times manufacturers will sell a card that susposedly has pipes locked but in reality they are not and just disabled in bios.

PM me if you are interested in give it a try if your card gets bricked I will replace it same thing with the overclock on the 7900GS I would love to see how far a dual pipe will go

Sweet deal, I'll definitely be giving the bios flash a shot with a voltage and clock modifcation. If the card is indeed laser locked, then the bios won't solve that problem but I guess we could always hope it's not a physical lock.

Just ran 3DMARK05 twice....

two times...got 5877 and then disabled Norton and some other junk and got 5889..not bad (do these numbers sound correct?), but would like to get it to about 6500.....I have 1GB RAM now and will have 2GB RAM in about three days...u think this will have any impact? Any suggestions on getting it a little higher? Thanks!!
