Second times a charm??

Ordered laptop number 2. They could not reinstate my previous order. They said I would have to wait until it circulated back into the inventory. It never did and I got tired of waiting, so I just ordered this for $1273 shipped:

1.5Mhz
512 MB 333MHz SDRAM (2 DIMMs)
40 GB EIDE Hard Drive (5400 RPM)
64MB nVidia GEForce FX GO5200
MOD,LCD,15.4,WXGA,SMSNG,BCP <<-- SAMSUNG! YES!
True Mobile 1300 Wireless Network Card
24X CD-RW/DVD Combo Drive

I figured this one is slightly better anyway and probably worth the extra $70 over the original one. More memory, better wireless card, Faster CPU.

And yes, I will refrain from going back to see what else is in the outlet. Thats what started tthis whole mess in the first place

Dammit, Dell is really screwing up, now they have tried to charge me TWICE. Once for the cancelled order and then again for the second reorder. I am REALLY getting sick of this s**t. Now I am looking on the outlet for fear of having to order for a third time. So, should I just keep my original order if I can, or just tell them to make sure they cancel everything and I will order a fresh system from the outlet (again). I can get the same system as number 2 for $35 less.

you could issue a chargeback it hurts dell more than it you cancelling it since they have to fight for the money :-D you technically never did or will recieve laptop #1

Never thought about that. And yeah, the first order is a lost cause, but I think the second one is better anyway... more RAM, better wireless card, faster processor....
